About Dr. Lynch
Kevin Lynch, DO is the founder and chief surgeon at Odessa General Surgery. Dr. Lynch, a Doctor of Osteopathic medicine and a board-certified surgeon, performs a variety of office-based procedures in addition to his numerous hospital-based surgeries. Among these services include varicose vein procedures, vasectomy, skin lesion removal, cosmetic Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser hair removal. Dr. Lynch also specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and vitamin supplementation.
Dr. Lynch earned his Bachelor of Science degree in perfusion technology from the School of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Upon graduating, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. While there, he was honored with an award for clinical excellence.
Dr. Lynch completed his transitional internship and first year of general surgery residency at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He then completed his residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where he served as Chief Surgical Resident.
Dr. Lynch is the chairman and director of robotic surgery at Odessa Regional Medical Center. He’s the medical director for Capitol Oil Well Service, Liberty Fishing and Rental Tools, and Blakely Construction. Furthermore, he’s an adjunct clinical assistant professor, teaching physician assistant students at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and Texas Tech University in Midland, Texas.
Dr. Lynch has written numerous medical articles based on his research. He also maintains active memberships in a number of professional medical organizations including the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American Vein & Lymphatic Society.
In 2003 and 2005, Dr. Lynch completed surgical mission trips to Guatemala on behalf of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations.
Dr. Lynch is married with two children. He’s a licensed pilot and also enjoys basketball, water sports, and music.
About Mr. Mygrant
Cody Mygrant is a physician’s assistant with a background in exercise physiology as well as clinical vitamin and nutrition.
Cody received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and then went on to earn his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the Texas Tech University of Health Science Center in Midland, Texas.
Cody specializes in primary care and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. He is dedicated to providing high quality patient-centered care.
